In the last module we compared the strategic priorities and objectives to each other to obtain their relative weights, resulting in a complete Strategic Value Scorecard. Now it’s time to meet with the subject matter experts to create scales for these priorities and objectives as well as for complexity and urgency. These scales will be used to score projects
and alternatives that will be submitted in the next chapter.
Module 6 outlines the process for how you will guide the subject matter experts through quantifying the Strategic Value Scorecard. This step (Quantify) is not a one-time event; you will have multiple meetings with the experts/groups of experts assigned to each portion of the scorecard, until a scale has been developed for each strategic priority/objective, complexity, and urgency.
